Shearling Darling

When the going gets cold, the cold get something they can throw over anything and I mean anything. Whether it be thrashed jeans, leather pants or mini-skirts.
Shearling is usually a sheepskin or lambskin pelt that has gone through a limited shearing process to gain a uniform depth of the wool fibres for a even look and feel.  Common misconception is that shearling is shorn wool; the term refers to the pelt of a yearling sheep that’s been shorn only once.
There are many different variations to this term especially when it comes to faux shearling,  which comes in a few different colours, textures and fibre lengths (In this case, reference to shearling is used loosely)

Below is a funky faux shearling jacket covering one of Petticoat Lane's 1980’s velvet dresses.

Jacket is by label Brave RRP$300.00 OUR price $139.95
