Eggs and champagne to go

Compared to Townsville Cup mayhem the Amateurs has a more demure and relaxed atmosphere with history stemming back to 1911 it has always represented the heart of North Queensland’s winter racing carnival. So a luxurious and indulgent morning sipping bubbly accompanied by a rich breakfast is a wonderful way to start a race day. The Watermark laid out a Vip Amateurs experience with a champagne breakfast including a sumptuous selection of fruits, salmon and eggs, then a bus transfer to Cluden, full access to Hotfm party zone, private bars with prizes and giveaways. Petticoat Lane was on hand to take a few snaps of fashionable ladies ready for another fabulous day at the track.
